Royal Chess Plus ("we", "our", "the app") is a chess game with online multiplayer, accounts, and optional push notifications. This policy explains what we collect and why.
Information we collect
Account information: username, email address, display name, and password (stored securely hashed on our server).
Game data: games played, moves, ratings, daily chess games, friends list, and in-app preferences (board colors, sound settings, etc.).
Device notifications: if you allow notifications, we store a push token so we can alert you about daily chess turns and invites.
Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, request time) used for security and troubleshooting.

Where data is stored
Account and game data are stored on our backend servers (hosted on Render). The app connects to <code>royalchessplus-backend.onrender.com</code> for online features.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the service (e.g., hosting provider) or if required by law.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your choices
You can turn off push notifications in app settings or device settings.
You can request account deletion by contacting us (see below).
Security
Passwords are hashed. Connections use HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.</p>
